Dark Haven, Meriland, welcomes the LOL Art Gallery!

The coastal village of Dark Haven, Meriland, welcomes the LOL Art Gallery to its environs. Many thanks to Lilas Meriman, Elizabeth Weinberg and Randi Grigoravich for the concept and development of thr gallery, as well as the fine artists who display there (Shui Shui, Nero Grunstein etc.). You are all extremely talented (as well as stone mad), and I recommend to all art lovers in SL and otherwise to pay a visit. Just search 'Meriland' on the Secondlife map, and head for the Megamar Lighthouse (can't miss it) on the northern shore. The LOL Gallery is right in it's shadow.
Please bear in mind that there are also affiliated galleries operating in Roissy and Roissy 2, so nobody can say we don't provide variety and opportunities for budding and established SL Artists.

The Reclining Nude - A New Exhibit at LOL!

We had a great party last Tueday night (June 2). The Gallery was hopping. Joni Villota acted as our DJ and brought her great play list. If you haven't heard her, you are missing something special. Look for her at Roll Over Beethoven's. The idea for the exhibit came from a web article by Richard Bradford called The Reclining Nude. It outlines the birth of the genre in the Renaissance and follows it through to modern times. Take a look. I think you'll find it intriguing. Anyway, come by and see the exhibit when you can.

Slow Sundays... NOT!

Peace... all I ask is for a little peace and quiet on a Sunday morning. Do I get that? No! Beth (Elizabeth Weinberg) has two new galleries in Roissy so I've been checking out the new things. Really good looking things. I'll be back to tell you all about it later.
